The Barn at Reynolda Village was originally a Cow Barn for the dairy cows on the Reynolda estate of RJ Reynolds. The building dates back to the 1920’s and has had many uses over the years, including numerous retail spaces. In 2016, Wake Forest University converted the former Cow Barn at Reynolda Village to an event space for the University and the public’s use. Hayden Design was contracted to provide design direction for the interior upfit. Our work included design details for event area and restroom paneling, cabinetry and doors, lighting selections, furniture, artwork and accessory selections. The space includes a large open event area, a silo with a custom chandelier, meeting rooms and a kitchen. With the Barn’s neutral palette, rustic elegance and flexible lighting, this space is in high demand for a wide range of events.
