Albert Eye Research Institute at Duke University Medical Center

The Albert Eye Research Institute is a 72,000 square foot building, which greatly expands the Ophthalmology Services at the Duke University Medical Center. This building connects to the Wadsworth Building, which houses the Duke Eye Clinic. The new building included faculty offices, conference rooms, a large auditorium, and library / doctor’s lounge. The building houses state of the art Ophthalmology research labs on two full levels, and a premiere Pediatric Eye Clinic. Duke University Medical Center continues to distinguish itself as a leader in eye research.
