BB&T Regional Office

This 70,000 sqaure foot building is home to BB&T's Regional Office and Stratford Road branch bank. HDA was responsible for the selection and coordination of all interior building finishes and materials. HDA also selected and specified all furniture and workstations, artwork and accessories.

The design consists of mahogany wood tones, marble and granite and taupe, burgundy and black accent colors. These finishes, contrasted by the contemporary element of stainless steel and clean lines, produce a transitional sophisticated banking environment. There is a constant play of arches against very strong linear details in both the building and the furniture.

HDA was awarded by IIDA (International Interior Design Association), the top honor- "Best of Show, 1997" for design excellence.
