Lowes Companies, Inc. made the decision to include Hayden Design Associates, Inc. as part of as part of the Lambert Architecture team, in the transformation of 300,00 square feet of retail mall space into a new Customer Support Center and Corporate Headquarters. To date, HDA has been responsible for the detailed move management of over 1000 employees.

While Lowes Corporate Headquarters is a largely open plan environment with spacious walks filled with skylights and greenery, there are several private offices as well.

The offices are glass enclosed and are very open to the central systems area. Warm cherry wood tones compliment the earthiness of greens and copper tones in the carpet.

Lighting was an important element of this project. Indirect lighting creates an environment without harsh glare which is especially beneficial in a high usage computer area.
