Featured Project: Hospice of Randolph County

We’ve worked with clients in the Randolph County area for many years and have extensive design experience for facilities providing both hospitality and healthcare. We were honored to be selected to design the interiors for this new Hospice Home located in Asheboro, North Carolina. The facility is 20,000 sq. feet with 16 Patient Bedrooms, Family Gathering Areas, Dining Room, Chapel and Spa / Bathing Area, in addition to administrative spaces.

We incorporated works from local artists and craftsmen throughout, including: a custom pottery fountain at the entrance, artisan ceramic tiles in the signage, handmade quilts, a custom rug, cork floor, soothing colors and warm wood tones. The Chapel features a custom-designed stained glass window and furnishings designed for this respite, reflective space. These accessory selections bring warmth and comfort to the space, matching the welcoming care from the staff at Hospice of Randolph County for families with loved ones who need Hospice Care.

Hayden Design will attend the annual meeting and luncheon April 5th at Hospice of Randolph County to reflect on its 2010 accomplishments and look toward the future for this facility.

Other projects in the healthcare field we recently completed include: the opening of the new Taylor Family Wing at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, and the Palliative Care Center on the Hospice Campus. We are currently working on projects with Randolph Medical Associates and Robinhood Pediatrics as well.
